Perbaikan Warehouse Business Process Dengan Metode Lean Six Sigma Di PT. XYZ
Keywords:
Lean, Six SigmaAbstract
This research aims to analyze wastes in the warehouse business process and make improvements in order to create an effective and efficient flow process. The method used is the quantitative method through a descriptive approach. The independent variable in this research is the warehouse business process, while the dependent variable is lean six sigma. The population in this research was 87 trucks. The author determined the sample by using a probability sampling system therefore the author only involved 46 respondents as the sample to be analyzed. The data collected is in the form of time in minutes which shows the time required for each inbound process. The results showed that there were several wastes in each running process. Of the 8 processes, there were wastes in each one of them. These wastes caused the process to run less effectively and efficiently, therefore it was necessary to make improvements by eliminating the processes that contain the most waste. After the analysis and improvement process, the sigma level increased. Before the improvement, the DPMO value was 944.01 with a 3.85 sigma level. And after the process had been improved, the DPMO was reduced to 4882.8 with a 4.09 sigma level increment.References
