Ricakusuma Lestari Abadi is a company operating in the freight forwarder sector by providing transportation services. Non-optimality and limited fleet capacity causes delivery activities to be inefficient in terms of time and cost. This research aims to determine the application of the decision tree method and determine the correct choice of decision making when using trucking services. Selecting trucking services using the Decision Tree method is a decision tool that uses a tree-shaped decision model. Meanwhile, for data analysis using the Decision Analysis method and to make it more effective and efficient, Information Technology is used in the form of Quantitative Method (QM) For Windows 5 software. The dependent variable in this research is the Decision Tree Method, and the independent variable is decision making. The data used in the research is field research and observation, direct observation at PT. Ricakusuma Lestari Abadi. The results of this research produced a minimum yield for Colt Diesel Engkel (CDE) trucks of IDR 270,000 for the Jakarta Area in the AKU trucking category and IDR 382,500 for Bekasi destinations in the ATT trucking category. And the minimum yield on a Colt Diesel Double (CDD) truck is IDR 315,000 for the Jakarta Area with the AKU trucking category and IDR 472,500 for Bekasi with the ATT trucking category.2023-11-17T11:40:01+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3458Is Turnover Intention of Waste Industry Employees Determined by Career Growth, Affective, Normative and Continuance?2024-02-06T10:13:16+00:00Anik Rahmawatianik.rahmawati@esaunggul.ac.idIkramina Larasati Hazrati Havidzikramina.larasati@esaunggul.ac.idIhlas Cahyadiihlas.cahyadi@esaunggul.ac.idHowever, in some businesses, job requirements are sometimes not in line with employees' aspirations for professional advancement, which often leads to a high incidence of employee turnover. The goal of this study is to determine how the likelihood of employee turnover is influenced by career development, emotional commitment, normative commitment, and continuation commitment.Purposive sampling was also utilised in this study to choose respondents. 158 employees, primarily on the island of Java, who work in the waste business industry were the subject of this study. The data is examined using the structural equation model (SEM) technique. According to the study's findings, career growth positively and significantly influences commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment. Additionally, career growth, affective commitment, normative commitment, and continuance commitment do not influence turnover intention. Last but not least, psychological capital does not moderate the relationship between affective commitment and turnover intention.2023-11-22T06:48:08+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3072Optimizing Goods Claims Processing Time in Logistics Operations Through Website-Based Applications with the DMAIC Approach2024-02-06T10:13:41+00:00Putri Monika Pratami102419013@student.universitaspertamina.ac.idGita Kurniagita.kurnia@universitaspertamina.ac.idPT XYZ is an e-commerce company which offers an electronic buying and selling platform for a wide variety of products from many sellers to buyers. As an industry engaged in the commercial sector, logistics has a vital role in shipping goods from upstream to downstream to meet consumer desires. However, conditions in the field are not always in accordance with the plans. Lost or damaged goods during delivery or at the Warehouse are a frequent problem. PT XYZ, through its XYZ Logistics team, implements a claims system for replacing items lost or damaged during the operational process. Currently, the claim submission system is done manually via email. This manual claim system creates many problems due to the lack of proper coordination between stakeholders. Therefore, this study proposed a solution with a lean six sigma approach using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) method. The solution offered to improve PT XYZ's claim system is to design an automated claim system using a website-based application. After implementing a website-based application to automate the XYZ logistics claim process, it was proved that the company was able to reduce lead time by up to 60% from initial conditions, up to 33% of stakeholder workload, and improve data security and real-time supervision.2023-11-22T03:56:33+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3462The Effect of Winding Yarn (Just In Time) on Winding Machine Productivity2024-02-06T10:14:11+00:00Sandi Noorzamans_noorzaman@yahoo.comRachmat Hidayatrhidayat328@gmail.comAn appropriate production system (just in time) is a concept that supports cost management to anticipate changes that occur in the industrial environment due to advances in technology and automation. In the just-in-time concept, production is carried out through a certain amount of inventory (inventory equals 0). This elimination of inventory amounts automatically eliminates carrying and other costs, leading to a decrease in tolerance levels for product errors. The aim of this research is to find out and examine the influencing factors of input and output, just in time simultaneously which have a significant influence on production machines effectively and efficiently at PT. Asindo, and to find out and research the dominant influencing factors of just in time on production machines effectively and efficiently at PT. Asindo. The results of the analysis show that the first hypothesis proposed in this research is that just-in-time production factors simultaneously have a significant influence on effective and efficient production machines at PT Asindo. This is supported by the results of the t-test, where the results show thatof (19.75) > t table of (2.03693). By looking at the value of R square = R=0.96135, meaning that the up-down variation of variable Y (effective and efficient production machines at PT. Asindo) is 92.419%, influenced by the independent variables in the model and the remaining 7.581% is due to other factors not included in this analysis. This means that the contribution of machine productivity in this model is good because it is more than 50%. From a series of design activities to achieve high production volumes with minimum inventory or minimum defective products for production and finished products, where the winding machine in production only produces output according to demand requirements.2023-11-24T11:52:10+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3463Enhancing Post-Disaster Mapping Assessment: Agent-Based Simulation Modeling Integrating Ground Vehicles and Drones (Case Study: Mount Merapi's Volcanic Eruption)2024-02-06T10:14:43+00:00Rahmad Inca Liperdainca.liferda@universitaspertamina.ac.idRavi Prananda Rinaldyinca.liferda@universitaspertamina.ac.idAnak Agung Ngurah Perwira Rediinca.liferda@universitaspertamina.ac.idAnna Maria Sri Asihinca.liferda@universitaspertamina.ac.idBertha Maya Sophainca.liferda@universitaspertamina.ac.idThis research presents an agent-based simulation model for post-disaster location mapping, considering land vehicles and drones along with access road availability and depot locations. The study examines the impact of bridge facility damage on depot selection and time indicators. Results reveal that damage to bridge facilities affects depots differently based on their location, leading to increased total processing and completion times due to interactions between land vehicles and bridges. Depot 7 emerges as the optimal location for undamaged and KRB II and III damage scenarios based on total processing time. Depot 3 performs best for KRB III damage, while Depot 8 exhibits the shortest completion time across all scenarios. These findings emphasize the importance of selecting depots with resilient road access and alternative routes, improving post-disaster logistics efficiency.2023-11-24T09:55:49+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3466Association Rules Mining for Designing Product Bundling Strategy (Study Case at a Cafe in Jakarta)2024-02-06T10:15:05+00:00Milqi Miftahul Jannah102417068@student.universitaspertamina.ac.idYelita Anggiane Iskandaryelita@universitaspertamina.ac.idFerani Eva Zulviaferanieva.z@universitaspertamina.ac.idCafe X is a modern and prominent coffee shop in town that sells specialty beverage products with a total of 73 variations. Sales transactions that occurred in March 2021 at that Cafe reached an average of 300 times per day. All this time, the transaction data is only used to calculate inventory replenishment and to observe sales profits whereas it can actually be utilized to reveal information related to customer behavior in buying products by finding the association or pattern between product sales. The purpose of this study is to obtain association models between items that can be used as a base to arrange recommendations for selling beverage products at Cafe X using a data mining method, namely the association rules with the Apriori algorithm. The transaction data specified for data processing are payment transactions of a total of 3,100 data records. From the analysis results, it is known that there are 8 product association rules that meet the minimum support of 0.01 and the minimum confidence of 0.5, which means that these rules can be used as an alternative basis for determining business strategy at Cafe X. Based on the association information between products, the customer relationship management (CRM) strategy that can be applied at Cafe X is the promotion strategy of product bundling. From a number of recommended bundled products, it is found that there are opportunities to increase sales for four products, they are MD001, TH002, LB001, and TU001.2023-11-28T10:37:08+00:00Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3611Analysis of Coding Machine Purchase Decisions Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method2024-02-04T03:23:12+00:00Dimas Novrisaldimasnovrisal@yahoo.comWinni Fazriah Mahmudahwinnifazramahmudah@gmail.comThe increasing public awareness of taking medicines, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, has made the pharmaceutical industry grow very rapidly. Therefore, the company is trying to increase its production, so it needs to add a coding machine. The choice of machine has a long-term impact because it will be used to assist the production process in the next few years, so it is necessary to use a method that is able to solve problems involving the consideration of company leaders, namely the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The order of priority of the coding machine selection criteria is the ability to print codes (33.6%), maintenance and repair costs (29.6%), the convenience of spare parts, solvents or make-up. and ink (16.2%), price (12.5%), and ease of use (8.1%). Based on the respondent's questionnaire, the order of the best alternative coding machines is Supplier A at 49.12%, Supplier B at 27.28%, and last Supplier C at 23.60%.2023-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3612The Influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation Dimension on Supply Chain Performance at PT XYZ Jakarta in 20222024-02-06T10:16:10+00:00Sekar Widyastuti Pratiwisekarwidy10@gmail.comHarry Purwokoharrypurwoko2014@gmail.comGhifari Maulana Akbarghifariakbar94@gmail.comMuhammad Iqbal Firdausiqbal@itltrisakti.ac.idEsterlinus Edwin Lermatanedwinlermatan@gmail.comThis thesis aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial orientation dimensions on supply chain performance at PT XYZ. The supply chain is a vital element in business, including planning, procurement, production, distribution and delivery of products/services to end consumers. Entrepreneurial orientation includes proactiveness, innovation, and risk taking. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and questionnaires distributed to managers and supply chain staff. Secondary data was obtained from literature, financial reports and company documents. Analysis uses SmartPLS 3.2.9 with variance-based structural equation analysis, measuring and modeling data simultaneously. Samples were taken using a saturated sampling technique. The results show that innovation has no significant positive effect on supply chain performance, while proactiveness and risk taking have a significant positive impact. Exogenous variables (innovation, proactiveness, risk taking) explain 53.1% of supply chain performance, the rest is influenced by other factors. The implications of this research provide guidance for companies to increase supply chain efficiency in competitive and dynamic markets.2023-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Logistik Indonesiahttps://ojs.stiami.ac.id/index.php/logistik/article/view/3613Implementation of Warehouse Receipt System in Food Warehouses in Kudus District2024-02-06T10:16:57+00:00Iqbal Fazaiqbalfaza83@gmail.comHikmah Sekarningtyashikmah.sekar@gmail.comTiti Yuni Artiyunia9835@gmail.comEka Novianaekanovi172@gmail.comAgriculture is a sector that is able to score growth during the pandemic crisis. The export performance of the agricultural sector also continues to show positive growth. For this reason, real support is needed so that agriculture can continue to grow sustainably. One of them is by building a modern agricultural commodity product storage system, one of which is by using a warehouse receipt system. The warehouse receipt system has very strategic functions, including as a stock management instrument, logistics financing instrument, and supporting food security efforts. Unfortunately, the utilization of the warehouse receipt system in Kudus Regency is still very low, as indicated by the minimal utilization of the warehouse receipt system. This research aims to analyze the reasons why the warehouse receipt system has not been optimally utilized by farmers. This research uses a qualitative method with Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that SRG has great potential to improve the welfare of farmers and advance the agricultural sector in Kudus Regency. However, to overcome various obstacles that hinder the implementation of SRG, serious efforts are needed from various parties, namely: Increase public knowledge and awareness about SRG; simplify the process and requirements for using SRG; improve SRG infrastructure, including information systems and warehouses; improve the ability of farmers to obtain financing through SRG; and improve cooperation between related agencies.2023-10-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Logistik Indonesia
