ANALISIS KUALITAS PELAYANAN PEMBELAJARAN PRAKTIK SIMULATOR BAGI TARUNA DIMASA PANDEMIC COVID -19 PADA SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU PELAYARAN JAKARTA ( STIP)

Abstract


Analysis of the Quality of Simulator Practical Learning Services for Cadets During the Covid-19 Pandemic at the Jakarta Maritime College (STIP). One form of service that STIP Jakarta Taruna students receive is practical simulator learning, however, during the Covid19 pandemic, this practical activity can no longer be implemented because the face-to-face learning process has shifted to a distance learning process / study from home. This research aims to analyze the quality of simulator practice learning services for cadets during the Covid-19 pandemic at the Jakarta Maritime Science College (STIP). This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this research show that: 1) during the Covid-19 pandemic, all facilities and infrastructure that are normally used were sterilized by spraying regularly before and after use, including the simulator room; 2) In the reliability dimension, the STIP service quality level has been going well. This is indicated by the fact that before carrying out learning in the simulator room, STIP lecturers carry out body temperature checks and antigen tests to ensure that lecturers are in good health and have competencies appropriate to their expertise in providing education and training to cadets at STIP Jakarta; 3) In terms of responsiveness, STIP has provided the best possible service to the needs of cadets by creating a Practical Learning Implementation Guide for all students and lecturers at STIP, 4) Practical laboratory learning begins with lecturers demonstrating classically online followed by tutorial learning with divide the class into several smaller work groups of 10-15 per group while still following the Covid-19 protocol or adjusting to the capacity of the laboratory space owned by the department and 5) STIP Jakarta through the simulator unit has made it easy for cadets who want to use the simulator for practice via WA or email.
