RETURN ON ASSETS AND COMPANY SIZE AGAINST PROFIT GROWTH (EMPIRICAL STUDY ON FOOD SUBSECTOR MANUFACTURING COMPANIES AND DRINKS LISTED ON THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE FOR THE PERIOD 2018-2020)

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Return on Assets and the size of the company to profit growth in food and beverage subsector manufacturing companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2018-2020. Research conducted is quantitative research. The total population in this study amounted to 47 company. Samples were selected using the purposive method sampling, so obtained a sample of 21 companies. Methods the analysis used in this study is data regression analysis panel. The Data were tested using Eviews12 application. Results in this study shows that (1) Return on Assets has a positive effect and significant to profit growth with the amount of influence amounted to 26.95% (2) the size of the company has no effect and not significant to profit growth (3) Return on Assets & size The company has a positive and significant effect on growth Profit with the amount of influence of 25.63% and the remaining 74.37% influenced by other variables outside this study.
