Usaha budidaya tambak ikan bandeng dilihat secara teoritis dapat memberikan prospek sisi ekonomi yang lebih menjanjikan, karena mengingat ikan bandeng hingga saat ini tetap menjadi komoditas budidaya ikan yang paling banyak diproduksi dan juga dikonsumsi di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data dari KKP, pada tahun 2014 yang lalu, produksi bandeng Indonesia tercatat sebesar 600.000 ton. Sementara pada tahun 2015 ditargetkan produksi bandeng bisa naik menjadi 800.000 ton.dari hasil pelatihan yang sudah dilakukan menghasilkan Teknologi yang telah diterapkan berupa teknologi pengolahan produk olahan ikan bandeng menjadi bandeng presto dan bandeng isi pada kelompok mitra. produk bandeng presto dan bandeng isi yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengabdian, sudah cukup baik dan mempunyai potensi untuk pengembangan usaha produk olahan ikan bandeng , dan mengaktifkan masyarakat untuk mengembangkan penganekaragaman produk olahan ikan bandeng menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi dengan memahami teknologi yang telah diberikan dalam penyuluhan, pelatihan serta pendampinganReferences
