Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in comment to the Editor.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

TITLE OF ARTICLE Name of Author(s) email address Institution Affiliation Abstract Write your abstracts of no more than 250 words and please indicate of 4 keywords. Please use Arial 11 with 1.15 space. Key Words: Three to Five keywords INTRODUCTION Please submit your article in Microsoft Words. The article must be written on A4 paper with margin of 2.5 cm on each side. Use font style of Arial 14 for the title and Arial 11 for author(s)’ name, email address, affiliation and the body text with 1.15 space. For Abstract please use Arial 11 with 1.15 space. Please follow this template with 2 (two) column page layout. BODY TEXT Article must be written in English, between 5.000-7.000 words as follows: Introduction, Theoretical Framework, Research Method, Findings, Discussion, Conclusion, and Implication. Headings should be left margin, upper case and bold. Sub headings should be used to aid readability in accordance with the following format: 1. first order headings: left margin, lower case start with capital letter and bold. 2. second order headings: flush with the left margin, lower case start with capital letter and bold. 3. third order headings: bold, lower case start with capital letter, indented as a paragraph followed by a period Tables, graphs, figures, and maps should be carefully integrated into the text and contribute significantly to understanding the authors message. Figures should be of clear quality, in black and white and numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Tables should be typed and included as part of the manuscript. They should not be submitted as graphic element. Ensure that tables and figures are complete with necessary superscipts shown, both next to the relevant items and with the corresponding explanations or levels of significance shown as footnotes in the tables and figures. AUTHOR IDENTITY AKNOWLEDGMENT CITATION AND REFERENCE Please follow the APA citation and referencing style.

LUGAS Jurnal Komunikasi will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. LUGAS Jurnal Komunikasi will only communicate with the corresponding author.

5.Miscellaneous

LUGAS Jurnal Komunikasi will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed. LUGAS Jurnal Komunikasi editors may modify the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers as mentioned in point 3.

 

Every accepted manuscript should be accompanied by "Copyright Transfer Agreement" prior to the article publication.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
