Analisis Dwelling Time serta Dampak pada Freight Forwarding

The phenomenon behind this research is dwelling time and its impact on freight forwarding, where during dwelling time are several companies. The purpose of this studyis to analyze dwelling time and its impact on freight forwarding (a case study at PT Pressa Cargo), the causes of dwelling time and the solution. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. Based on the results of the study, it can be conclude that the causes of dwelling time experience by PT Pressa Cargo includethe lack of work tools at the port, delays in the submitting the required documents during the import process of goods, the absence of empty space when on boardand in the warehouse where goods are stored.
