This study aims to determine the condition of employee job satisfaction, obstacles in increasing job satisfaction and efforts/solutions to overcome obstacles in increasing job satisfaction of Air Traffic Controller (ATC) employees at the TWR Unit at Perum LPPNPI, Curug Sub-branch. This is based on the phenomenon of the problem that the number of employees with workloads is not balanced, there is no additional compensation for workloads outside of their duties, and some employees wish to apply for work changes. This research was conducted at Perum LPPNPI, Curug Sub-Branch, from April to August 2021. This study used a qualitative approach. Data was collected by observation, literature study, and interviews with 7 informants. The concept used in this research is job satisfaction. The results of this study are employee satisfaction can be said to be good according to 7 of the 10 determinants of job satisfaction. The obstacles that exist in the company such as: a) difficulty in two-way communication between leaders and employees; b) small opportunities for education and training opportunities; c) lack of supervisors; d) facilities for work tools are not optimal. Efforts are made to overcome obstacles that can be done by employees: opening discussion rooms or online FGDs to avoid misunderstandings between leaders and employees, holding online training, communication with management regarding the submission of the number of supervisors and work toolsReferences
