Conflict of Interest

A conflict of interest exists when financial, personal, institutional, or academic relationships could influence, or appear to influence, the work of authors, reviewers, or editors. Majalah Ilmiah Bijak requires every party to disclose such interests.

 

Authors

Authors declare all sources of funding and any competing interests in a statement at the end of the manuscript. If there are none, they write: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."

 

Reviewers

Reviewers decline an invitation if they know the authors' identity, have worked closely with them, are in competition with them, or have any other interest that could affect their judgement.

Editors

Editors do not handle manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest. A manuscript submitted by an editor or an editorial board member is handled by another editor, goes through the same double-blind review, and the author takes no part in the decision.

Konflik kepentingan terjadi apabila hubungan finansial, pribadi, kelembagaan, atau akademik dapat memengaruhi, atau tampak memengaruhi, kerja penulis, penelaah, atau editor. Majalah Ilmiah Bijak mewajibkan setiap pihak mengungkapkan kepentingan tersebut.

 

Penulis

Penulis menyatakan seluruh sumber pendanaan dan kepentingan yang bersaing dalam pernyataan di akhir naskah. Jika tidak ada, penulis menuliskan: "Penulis menyatakan tidak ada konflik kepentingan."

 

Penelaah

Penelaah menolak undangan apabila mengetahui identitas penulis, pernah bekerja sama erat dengan penulis, bersaing dengan penulis, atau memiliki kepentingan lain yang dapat memengaruhi penilaiannya.

 

Editor

Editor tidak menangani naskah yang mengandung konflik kepentingan baginya. Naskah dari editor atau anggota dewan editor ditangani oleh editor lain, melalui penelaahan double-blind yang sama, dan penulis tersebut tidak terlibat dalam pengambilan keputusan.
