Corrections and Retractions

Transparansi : Jurnal Ilmiah Ilmu Administrasi keeps the published record accurate. Corrections and retractions follow the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

Correction (Erratum / Corrigendum)

Published when an error affects the article but does not invalidate its findings. Errors made by the journal are corrected as an erratum; errors made by the authors are corrected as a corrigendum. The correction notice is linked to the original article, and a corrected version may be added.

Expression of Concern

Published when there is serious doubt about an article but the investigation is not yet complete or the evidence is inconclusive.

Retraction

An article is retracted when its findings are unreliable (because of misconduct or honest error), it is plagiarised or duplicated, or it violates research ethics. The article stays online, marked "RETRACTED", with a retraction notice that states the reason and who requested it. Retraction notices are free to read.

Removal

An article is removed only in exceptional cases, for example when it is legally defamatory or infringes the rights of others. The bibliographic information then remains with a note explaining the removal.
