PENGARUH KOMPENSASI DAN KOMPETENSI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA PADA PT. TRAC ASTRA RENT A CARCABANG CONDET JAKARTA TIMUR

People have growing needs. Higher mobility demands time efficiency. Companies require transportation solutions to support business activities while public needs safe and comfortable transportation for every activity. In performing their business activities, companies need appropriate marketing strategies. Marketing strategy planning cannot be separated from consumers since they have essential roles as a measuring tool to determine the success of goods and services. Therefore, market segmentation strategies are highly required to market the products of PT TRAC Astra Rent a Car. The creation of proper competence and compensation is expected to improve the work satisfaction of employees to generate good performances both individually and in groups so the performance of works can match a qualitative approach plan. The population of this research is 300 employees that work for PT TRAC Astra Rent a Car. The calculation using slovin formula and sampling error of 10% indicate that the sample to be researched is 75 people. Compensation variable significantly and positively affects work satisfaction variable. It can be seen from the significance value 0.000 lower than 0.05 and t-calculation value of 9,481. Competence variable affects work satisfaction. It can be seen from the significance value of 0.000 lower than 0.05 and tcalculation value of 1,993 higher than 11,351, F-calculation is 75,360 which means independent variable has significantrelations with dependent variable with the significance value of 0.000. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis of “Compensation and Competence variables simultaneously and positively affect work satisfaction variable of 67.7%. On the other hand, 32.3% work satisfaction is affected by other factors outside this research.References
